Green cabbage belongs to the cruciferous family of vegetables and, much like its relatives, is brimming with antioxidants and health-promoting properties. Known for its use in coleslaw, this vegetable is much more versatile than that! It can be sliced into steaks for roasting with garlic, lemon and Parmesan cheese, chopped up and put into soups, pickled, fried for breakfast with eggs and even stuffed into cabbage rolls with a tomato based sauce.
